Membership
Who can become a Campus Credit Union member?
Campus Credit Union membership is available to individuals who meet our eligibility requirements, including many students, educators, retirees, family members of current members, employees of eligible organizations, and individuals who qualify through county-based eligibility.

How do I become a member?
Becoming a member is simple. If you’re eligible, visit a Campus Credit Union branch with your required identification and membership share deposit. A Member Services Representative will help you establish your membership and open the accounts that best fit your needs.

How do I know if I'm eligible?
Membership is available through several eligibility pathways, including postsecondary education, eligible employers, family relationships, and county-based eligibility. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, we’re happy to help determine your eligibility.

Can my family members join?

Is there a cost to become a member?
Yes. A $25 membership share deposit is required to establish your ownership in Campus Credit Union. This deposit represents your membership share in the credit union.

What do I need to open an account?
To open an account, you’ll typically need a valid government-issued photo ID, your Social Security card, and the required $25 membership share deposit. Bringing these items with you can help make the account opening process quick and easy.

Do I have to visit a branch to become a member?

What is a Share Savings account?
A Share Savings account establishes your membership with Campus Credit Union and provides a secure place to build your savings while maintaining your ownership share in the credit union.

How do I enroll in Online Banking?
Enrolling in Online Banking gives you secure access to your Campus Credit Union accounts anytime, whether you’re using a computer or the Mobile Banking app. Once enrolled, you can check balances, transfer funds, pay bills, deposit checks, and more.

Is Mobile Banking different from Online Banking?
Yes. Online Banking is accessed through your web browser, while Mobile Banking allows you to securely manage your accounts using the Campus Credit Union Mobile Banking app. Both provide access to many of the same banking features.
